TECHNIQUE: Part 2 of 2
This 3D scene is then rendered into high resolution 2D image.
I start hand painting the background next working dark to light, this virtually is identical to putting brush to canvas, but in this cas the brush is electronic not sable. (see example to the right). Then I move on to painting the 3D scene adding detail and adjusting color and tonality.
Next I start the proofing process with my Fine Art Printer. Going back and forth doing adjustments until the print on canvas looks as close as what I see on my monitor. Once satisfied I store the final adjusted image file and from it I will start printing a the limited print edition. As in tradional print making techniques, each one of these prints are considered an original.
